Sauble can be incredibly busy on a hot summer Saturday - try these easy shortcuts......

Coming from Owen Sound - when you get to the top of the hill in Shallow Lake, turn left onto Joynt Street.  This street turns into Shouldice Block Road and eventually Silver Lake Road once you cross Bruce Road 10.  Keep going west until you hit Elsinore Road and turn left.  Our lovely yellow farm cottage is on the left when you reach Maryville Lake Road.  

If you missed the turn-off in Shallow Lake, keep going on Hwy 8 through the town of Hepworth and turn left on Allenford Rd and then right on to Silver Lake Road - continue as above.                                  

                                                          Are We There Yet?

If you're coming up through Hanover, keep going straight on the newly-paved Grey-Bruce Line when you reach the intersection at Scone.  After crossing Hwy. 21, you will pass the sign marking Park Head.  A couple of miles past Park Head, turn left onto Silver Lake Road - the sign on the left says Silver Lake Road, on the right it is Shouldice Block Road.  Keep going on Silver Lake Road until you reach Elsinore Road and turn left.  Our place is on the left at the next intersection.

If you're coming through Southampton, turn left onto County Road 13 once you're over the bridge.  Maryville Lake Road will be on your right and Elsinore Road is the first cross-road.  You're there!                                              

Our farm cottage is at the intersection of Elsinore Road and Maryville Lake Road in Bruce Country.  The main boundary roads are Bruce Rd. 14 to the east, Bruce Rd. 13 to the west, Bruce Rd. 8 to the north and Hwy 21 to the south.
